When LocoySpider works,it will crawl the URL you set, extract the source code,then extract the corresponding data according to the rules and save it to job database.When finish the extracting,program will save the data to local folder or publish to your CMS or database according to your rules.

LocoySpider is a desktop application program,we write it with c#,so you need to use it on windowns operating system and make sure you have installed Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or more advanced Framework.

Program will detect every page's encoding automaticlly,but sometimes it does not work.So then you have to set coding page manually.Please select "Job Advanced setting" to set "source encoding ".

When publishing fails,LocoySpider will inform you to view error log,it records the data returned from server.Analyze the log ,you can find the reason,like did not login ,title is null,and content is incomplete.Then you can modify rules or settings based the problems.

"404 not found error,generally caused by firewall, please set firewall allowed or exit firewall then try again!" on the login interface,software needs internet validation when you use it.If you have no internet or firewall ,anti-virus software blocked LocoySpider to visit internet,you can not run it .Please modify settings to make sure program can visit internet.
